Frequently Asked Questions
Each Grizzim kit contains four reinforced TPU rim protectors, designed to fit wheels ranging from 12 to 20 inches in diameter.
If your wheels are larger than 20 inches, we recommend purchasing two kits to ensure complete protection and proper coverage.
Grizzim rim protectors are suitable for most vehicles weighing up to 2500 kilograms.
This includes vehicles that may carry passengers or luggage, as long as the total weight remains within the 2500 kg limit.
Grizzim is not suitable for vehicles that exceed 2500 kilograms, as this could damage the vehicle or product and void the warranty.
You can identify your wheel size by checking the sidewall of your tires.
Look for the tire code, where the third number indicates the inner rim diameter in inches.
For example, if you see “R18,” this means your wheel is 18 inches in diameter.
For effective and long-lasting installation of your rim protectors, carefully follow the steps below:
- Clean your rims thoroughly
First of all, it is essential to thoroughly clean the surface of the rims. Remove all traces of dirt, grease, or residue.
⚠️ This step is crucial: if the surface is not perfectly clean, the 3M adhesive strip may not adhere properly. - Apply the protective strip
Unroll the rim protector along the edge of the rim, making sure to align it properly.
Once you have covered the entire rim, trim off the excess strip neatly for a clean finish. - Repeat
Repeat these steps on each of the vehicle's wheels.
